Blind Stampede is a band based out of Portland, Oregon that brings together decades of musical camaraderie and a passion for roots-driven rock & roll. With a sound that blends the grit of blues, the soul of country, and the energy of classic rock, they create a feel-good atmosphere that turns every show into a celebration—and fills dance floors with a sense of community and joy.

Led by the original songwriting duo of John Q. Porter (lead guitar/vocals) and Chris Martin (rhythm guitar/vocals), and backed by the rock-solid rhythm section of Dan Davis on bass and Chaz Holmes on drums and vocals, Blind Stampede delivers a rich, groove-laden experience. Their songbook mixes heartfelt originals with inspired takes on deep cuts by the likes of Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, JJ Cale, Merle Haggard, R.E.M., Dire Straits, and more.

With over 30 years of performing together in acclaimed Northwest acts like Stilltenders, Buds of May, Jawbone Flats, The Old Yellers, Silver Lake 66, Big E & The Stomp, the members of Blind Stampede are seasoned musicians who know how to keep a crowd moving and connected.
